There are many types of spices to prepare a Bone-in Rib Roast. The basic preparation method is below:
To Taste - Coarse Salt & Pepper
1. Preheat BR-2 Dome Oven & Roaster to 450 degrees F. You will want to roast hot to seal in the juices. This is similar to searing meats.
2. Make small slits in the meat with the tip of a small knife; insert the garlic slivers. Rub the meat with salt and pepper. Roast on the Reversible Rack at 450 degrees F for 25 minutes.
3. Reduce BR-2 temperature to 400 degrees F and roast for additional 16 minutes per pound (about 1 1/2 hours), or until a meat thermometer reaches an internal temperature of 135°F to 140°F for a medium-rare center.
