BR-2 Dome Oven Recipe - Mediterranean-Style Burgers

As seen in the Chef Mark video.

Have yourself an amazing burger without all the guilt. This isn't your everyday recipe with cheddar cheese and mayonnaise and a fatty bun.  We created a fresh take on a protein style burger using flavors of the Mediterranean and the nice crunch of purple cabbage.  And the best part is, with the BR-2 Dome Oven, you don't even have to go outside to cook a burger in a healthy fashion.

For Fresno Tzatziki Sauce:

2 cup Plain Yogurt

1 medium cucumber, diced

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 Fresno chili, diced

 2 Tbsp fresh dill

2 tsp fresh lemon juice

Salt to taste.

For the Burger:

Make 1/4 lb. patties of lean, grasped beef.  Lightly salt and pepper each side of the burger.  Preheat the BR-2 for 5-7 minutes at 400F.  Place the Burger into the BR-2 Dome oven for 12-17 minutes depending on your desired level of doneness.   Place the burger in a wrap of washed purple cabbage and garnish with fresno tzatziki sauce and fresh dill.

Was amazed how this turned out. Never imagined a burger could look like this and taste so good. The Fresno Tzatziki Sauce was really worth the time to make. Chef Mark really knows his stuff.
